About this work:
Observing my cat, curious and watchful, I always have the feeling he knows something he won't share. He is unimpressed by my commands, and I am charmed by his proud independence and natural ability to set his own terms with feline grace. He is always just out of reach, and busy with something on his own, which I will never grasp.
Float mounted in a natural wood frame with aluminium support under ArtGlass with UV protection.
The Cats Know has been previously exhibited at the Society of Animal Artists 65th Art & the Animal Annual Exhibition at the Art Museum in Eastern Idaho.
